Test Answers to the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader Test

B.B. had his first breakthrough. I have been teaching him about trusting his instincts and listening to his small inner voice. He said to me just today, my instincts are telling me choice 2 is correct. I smiled and my heart warmed!

Children can become so intelligent, loving, and trusting when they learn the right kinds of things, ya know? And it is not all about abcs and 123s.
There is much to know about what it means to be a happy and effective human being. However, we are just now beginning to pay attention to that kind of topic and realizing its relevance to the modern world.

Here are the answers to the Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader Test
1. $10,000,000.
2. Solids, liquids, gases, plasma.
3. Plot, characters, conflict, main theme, resolution

Bonus Question
B.B. is fascinated with science and especially stars and planets. We went on the discovery.com website and researched Supernovas and found an interesting article that says In the end, everything comes from space dust. We also read an article entitled Human Origins, Space Dust in the Wind. This really got me thinking, how everything in the entire universe (even space) is inter-connected!

Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?

Take this test to find out!

Do you know how to write a check for 1 ten millions?

What are the 4 states of matter?

What are the main elements to writing a story?
Come back next week for the answers!

To be smarter than a 5th grader, you have to learn your lessons when they are presented, go with the flow vs resisting what is, and listen/pay attention to what is going around you.
We are being spoken to all the time, from God, and we are always creating lessons for ourselves from the ultimate teacher, Life.

What I have found is that the inability to learn what God/Goddess is trying to teach us is the source of our insanity and suffering!

I know that one of the lessons I am learning is to let go of my agenda and just allow myself to be of service.
That is why I am doing the work I am doing in the school system now.
When this assignment is over, I will move on to another assignment.
While here, though, I am getting to polish my patience, increase my acceptance of myself and others just as they are, right where they are, even when they are displaying less than lovely behaviors!

If Life is a Teacher, what are you learning these days?

Back in the 5th Grade?!

What a surprise to find myself working with B.B., a 5th grader who displays social & behavioral challenges.

It has been interesting so far, as we have been teaching each other many new things.

For instance, I have been introduced to all kinds of insects. I now know what they eat for breakfast, as B.B. has a passion for all things natural, especially spiders!

B.B. reminds me of the wonders of the world and is always finding something new to marvel at even if it is creepy and crawly!

3 Behaviors We are Working to Improve :
Pay Attention
to what is going on, follow directions, and be present to the lesson that is being presented
Listen
to yourself and to your teachers, they have something valuable to teach
Go with the flow
be part of the group processes, and trust that things will unfold to your liking without your manipulation.

You are all grown up, what parallels can you draw from your own life?

Always learning, Dr. Michelle
