Your soul is your true essence, and this part of you is unlimited, original and eternal. Your soul is here to express itself and to shine brightly and radiantly, despite what other egos might think.

As we march into 2010, which holds the promise of every great thing, you are at a choice point.

How do you choose which path to take. the lower, boring, mediocre road or the higher, exciting and divine road?

Perhaps you reflect back over your life and realize how much more happiness, success, love, andpeace you could have experienced if you had thought or acted with a higher consciousness.

Maybe you look ahead and have big dreams that you secretly wish to accomplish but find that little devil called doubt creeping in much too often, and find yourself right back into "default mode."

I know what it is like...I was stumbling and struggling along for years, just barely making it by financially and emotionally. I was low on the resources of love and money. After literally bumping my head several times in dangerous car accidents, a few broken hearts, and a starving bank account, I decided it was time to wake up from the trance and start enjoying the dance!

You are encoded for greatness, and by accepting less than your heart's desires, you are not living up to your fullest potential.

Now is the time to make a lasting change in your consciousness. You can choose to create a new life with better and happier outcomes.

However, if you are divided in your heart or worse yet, an Ego is in charge, this year (and every year henceforth) will turn out much like the last year, disappointing.

ACIM teaches that the ego fears change because it associates it with death/annihilation.

The Drama & Defining Moment in Romantic Love

The Drama
If you are stuck on a track that goes nowhere, you not growing. When you are not growing, your heart is not open and your spirit starts to shut down. In this emotional state you tend to vacillate from mania to numbness. Exiting is the only remedy for the sickness associated with this ride. You have probably tried many time-out talks that included “calls to action” where promises were made but never kept. That is because there is just enough good stuff to keep you around, mixed in with fear and intimidation. On the crazy train, there will be many moments of frustration, anxiety, tears and fears. In other words--- Drama. Why do you do the drama? Because you think it is amusing.

Drama is a key component of this kind of relationship. You will find passion here, in many ways that are important, like good sexual chemistry, etc. But there is another even more powerful passion at work. The kind that makes you go crazy, get defensive, throw tantrums, sulk and shut down. This is not the good kind of passion.

This kind of passion is left over childhood anger or rage from when we didn’t get our needs met. To attempt to resolve this ache in our hearts, we hook up with a partner and try like hell to get them met through that other person. What a trap---they are often perfectly wired to hit our hottest buttons.

Relationships teach us about ourselves. So this is good, because at any moment during the ride, you can wake up and make a different choice on how you want to respond. On this ride, you are in total control of how fast, slow, gut wrenching, heart pounding, and scary you will let it become. There will come a day when you will finally have had enough of the self-inflicted craziness. This day is your defining moment.

The Defining Moment
A defining moment for me came when I was journaling about my first husband. I found in the back of my journal a letter that was addressed to him that was four years old. In the letter, I was expressing the same concerns and requests that I was in the present. Ironically enough, the letter’s actual date was October 12, 2000. Our wedding was October 12, 2002. That means before I even got married, I knew the ride I was in for, but still I made the commitment. Now you are probably saying she should have seen it coming--” he wasn’t likely to change.

Who really knows? All I can say is I guess I hadn’t gotten the lesson yet, and needed to keep riding, and marriage was the only way I was really going to experience what I needed to experience. I’m sure I also had a romantic illusion that it would improve.

Wrong. The first year of marriage was awful---all the things in that letter were there magnified by ten! I could barely recognize this man. I was in shock and disbelief for the entire first year and kept thinking make it stop. Finally after riding along for another year, (and couple’s counseling) I had that moment when I was like what am I doing? I deserve more. This is not amusing and I need to get off this roller coaster ride.

Maybe you don’t even like roller coasters, but have been riding because your partner liked them. You do have a right to your own feelings and to say this ride is not for me. In fact, that is the bravest thing you can do. But if you do find yourself on the crazy train, realize that you have the power to make it stop.

Just exit the relationship. And do not get back in line for another ride!

In relationships, you always have 4 choices: stay put, move forward, go backward, or exit. If you want out, get out. Get clear on what you want next and what you have learned. And then make the decision to leave. Stick to it. Get extra support from friends and family. Do not allow him or her to talk you back into staying. It is just a ploy—after all, this is their favorite ride, look at all the cheap thrills they get at your expense!

This ride makes them feel good. But if you don’t feel good and enjoy the ride, it’s high time to go.

Getting off the Crazy Train roller coaster ride of relationships—Part I

Do you love amusement rides? When I was a girl growing up I loved roller coasters, the faster, more intense, the crazier the better. What a rush! What a thrill. I remember on my favorite, The Beast---I would get off and run to get back in line to do it all again. Pure adrenaline addiction. It was a teenage love affair between beauty and the beast. That was great when I was thirteen.

I mean, I really loved riding The Beast, but wouldnt want to do it every day for the rest of my life!

As an adult, I still have a need for excitement and thrills, so what is a girl to do? What everyone does for so-called excitement-- romantic relationships. By far, the wildest ride out there in Romantic Love Land is the infamous Crazy Train---where you will experience the thrill of excitement, anticipation, and expectation followed by the fall, where your stomach drops out, then you are racing through the darkness of the confusion tunnel, ending with the abrupt finish—all the while squealing with delight and fear.

A popular self-help definition of insanity is doing the same thing in the same way over and over expecting different results. Wow, is this ever true in many romantic relationships. We want love so badly that we are willing to ride a relationship out until it literally makes us sick. When we get used to the ups and downs of bad behavior and start to believe that is a normal way to have a relationship, we get a little crazy.

Modern love serves to help us grow and evolve---to raise our awareness/consciousness. If you feel stuck in a rut and can’t seem to move forward, or cannot feel peace and contentment---get off the ride and take a look around.

Chances are you got on the crazy train coaster instead of the smooth and peaceful looking one you saw in the brochure. This emotional roller coaster has lots of highs and lows, twists and turns, but yet just keeps running the same course again and again, never really evolving. You know you are in one if you have the reasons for fights and the scripts that go with them burned in your brain.

In other words, you are stuck on a ride you desperately want to change.

Beware
There is no changing it, only exiting from it.

The Cycle of Abuse in a Narcissistic Relationship

Continued from the special report I wrote in 2006 when I divorced the first NPD in my life.

Narcissistic men use the women in their lives to stay alive and feel good. In exchange for getting to be with them, you become a servant to His needs. He will want your complete submission to him, but you will hold back because you feel something is not quite right, and can’t seem to really trust him. You are right about these feelings, but are too far in the dark to see the truth. The cycle of abuse starts right you meet him and continues until you finally see the light.

The Seduction Stage
When you first meet him, the narcissistic man is quite mysterious. He has well- developed seduction techniques that can literally charm the pants right off you! The air of mystery adds to the excitement, as most women do desire to be taken and claimed by a real man. You blindly believe he is such a man, only to find out later and after much confusion, that he was only an actor playing a part.

Realize that you never really know a narcissist because he will only tell you what he wants you to know and reveals what is useful in winning you over. In the beginning, he will over-value you. He will make you feel like you are the most amazing woman. He will seduce you with dinner, massage, flowers, whatever it takes to get you under his spell. He will look right into your eyes and hypnotize you with sweet talk. Narcissists are masters at emotional manipulation, so it is easy to fall for it. Once you open and trust, you are in the lair.

The Abuse Stage
After awhile you will find that you are no longer seen as the chosen one, rather, you now receive the brunt of his constant frustration and anger about how life is not working out how he thinks it should be. You are the reason for everything that goes wrong. You are judged, blamed, criticized, made to feel inadequate, etc. Verbal attacks can lead to physical attacks.

A Narcissist man (and woman for that matter) is a master of manipulation and not capable of real human feelings. He studies human behavior and mimics emotions to get the desired reaction from other people. You will begin to think you are crazy or emotionally unstable because: 1). He tells you that 2). He can twist conversations around until you forget your initial concern.

You will be in shock and disbelief and wonder what you did to cause such mistreatment.

It is not your fault. He is an abuser. He has a disorder (Narcissistic Personality Disorder.)

The Sustenance Stage

At this point, you are trapped in the lair trying to get your bearings. The abuse continues but now you are de-valued. He feels justified for abusing you. When he sees you, he sees what is on his inner screen (and it is not pretty!). No matter what you do, you will never be the equal and radiant co-star at the beginning of the movie. In fact, in his mind you have been demoted to personal assistant. You exist to do his bidding. What you do as a human being is not important or valued.

For instance, you are in business for yourself and you share that you got a new client. Instead of a normal response of “hey that’s great, tell me more.” You will hear something like how much are they going to pay? Why can’t you get more clients? To get any kind of respect at all, you have to produce---more money, more attention, more admiration. By now his addiction to you has grown and he requires more from his supplier. You are his drug. He needs more of you and yet does not value what he takes from you.

The sad thing is you were never valued in the first place.

If you suspect, you are involved in an NPD I implore you to do more research on it and emotional abuse. The best thing you can ever do for your soul is to LEAVE and run to the light of a New Day.

The Dark Side of Romantic Love: NPD

I am ending the second of a long-term relationship with someone that may have Narcisstic Personality Disorder. It's interesting, as they both were very similar...dark hair, Aquarians from the northeast. They also knew exactly what to say and do to get me to fall for them. The first lasted 8 years, the second, just 2, so I am definitely learning to see the signs ahead of time, and yet, feel disappointed to have re-created this pattern again.

I know that I am not alone, though, there may be many of you reading this right now who are feeling the drain of your positive and light filled-energy with someone who cannot access the center of their heart.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this Valentine's day you be involved in a battle of the wills instead of blessing of the souls and you may actually be sleeping with a modern-day vampire---otherwise known as a Narcissist. Because Narcissists are such great actors, they will convince you how much they care for you, leaving you lifeless before you see the light of day.

Sam Vaknin, a Narcissist who wrote the book, Malignant Self-Love has called narcissism the mental epidemic of the 21^st century and has said it insidiously infects people who have daily contact with a narcissist. The psychological definition of narcissism is an all-pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy and behavior), with a strong need for admiration or adulation, a lack of empathy, usually beginning early in adulthood. Narcissists are overly obsessed with their image and are driven by their insatiable ego towards a ruthless and never-ending pursuit of gratification, dominance, and ambition. It comes with no surprise that 50-75% are male.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder that may be a result of childhood abuse from family, authority figures, or peers. There are two kinds of narcissists: cerebral (intelligence and academic achievements) and somatic (physical or sexual prowess of conquests). When you have NPD, there is no pill you can take to fix it. It is a condition you have to learn to live with and manage. Contrary to popular myth, a narcissist does not love himself, in fact, he often loathes himself and is thus driven to self-denial and bizarre coping mechanisms. A romantic relationship to someone with NDP is a source of life-giving energy that often leads to verbal and emotional abuse.

One tell-tale sign is not being able to get some of your important needs met....they will only give you what they want to give you and nothing more. You can ask until you are blue in the face and they just are unable to comprehend and respond in a kind-hearted manner.

Think about this--How do you know the color of your own eyes?
By looking in the mirror and seeing for yourself or by someone telling you.
We can’t see ourselves in our totality without a mirror.

What Changes Are On Your Horizon?

Welcome to a new year and a new decade.

What is on the horizon is massive transformation and shifts of consciousness--that’s what 2010 is all about. It’s time to step into who you really are and do what you were born to do. On new years eve, after I spent all night howling at the blue moon, it hit me, my soul is calling me FORTH.

It is time for me to make some changes of my own, so I am planning a move to Austin, Texas.

While walking along the seashore today, I remembered a great quote:

If you want to discover new oceans, you have to learn to leave sight of the shore.

My own coach had been encouraging me to go on a vision quest of sorts...

to step out of my comfort zone and get in touch with my bigger vision,

and right away I got to feeling out of sorts, low on energy, stuffed head and nose--allerigic.

I am aware enough to know I was in resistance.

Resistance is what stands between the life you live and the unlived life within you.

On a deeper level, I knew something was needing to change in my life, something big like a move of residence, but I did not want to think about leaving my comfort zone of living on the island and enjoying a quiet, simple life.

Once I faced my fear, felt my way through it, and accepted my next step, all those physical symptoms subsided, and a new sense of self and a burst of energy became activated.

Now, I know it is a natural step into taking my message of Everyday Enlightenment to a much bigger audience.

You see, when going through a major transition (divorce, career change, move, financial challenge) it is common to be in a state of negative emotional and mental overload that makes it difficult to think clearly and make wise decisions.

However, the stress that you are experiencing is the perfect prescription to evolve your soul---if you choose to see the blessing in the chaos and confusion. You can learn new skills

that are built upon a spiritual foundation and learn to access the wisdom of your own soul which will empower you to recreate your reality based on what you really desire.

And get this! The stress and resistance dissolves when you surrender to your higher purpose and allow your SOUL to lead you.

Write a New Story of Life Success and Happiness

Your history is not your destiny.

Your history is nothing but a story that you are writing. The more you identify with the negative aspects of it, the more you will remain trapped in ho-humville. Please stop telling your sad story.

Now is the opportunity to write a new story --one filled with opportunity and that details your life as an adventure full of changes, challenges, and personal growth experiences. Let go of the pain and move toward the light of awareness. There is a much better view once you see everything in a new Light.

You have the power to overcome your history and create a new life anytime you choose.

There are two options for 2010:

1. remain in the same energy and continue to create more of the same-- same stuff, different day.

2. Break free of your past and re-create a new, much brighter future.

I think you know which option to take!

Start by accepting and making peace with whatever has happened in your life and forgive yourself and others who may have caused you pain and suffering. See everything in your life, esp the trials and tribulations as the powerful teaching tool they are meant to be.

Decide instead of work you will play.

Decide instead of having to you get to.

Choose to live an inspired life.

There are 13 days until a new year. So many times, we fail to learn from previous choices and we default into another year experiencing the same-old, same-old. Let other people settle for less than their heart’s desires but NOT YOU!

It’s time to let go of everything that has come before and step into your divine destiny. 2010 is a turning point year for those on the path of purpose.....there is only 2 years until 2012, and it is time to connect with those of like-mind.

5 Simple Ways to Care for Your Soul This Holiday Season

n today's challenging times, there seems to be less and less time to do soul-nourishing activities. However, every ultra successful person knows a secret ingredient to success which is often over-looked, that of being "balanced" and taking plenty of down-time to rest, refresh and rejuvenate.

As the Soul Coach, I am here to help you reconnect with that inner part of you that is longing to be free, happy, and joyful. Every client I have worked with has a unique combination to their success lock, and scheduling "soul time" is a central component.

The holidays can bring more stress and pressure to an already full plate. Is it any wonder that many literally have a "blue christmas" because they are not taking good care of themselves and often feel lonely and unappreciated?

What follows are 5 simple ways to Care For Your Soul:

1. Honor Your Core Values
People, circumstances, and things that are not good for you cause you to constrict and withdraw your love, power, and passion. If you keep living a default life, you become more and more disconnected from your True Self and Source/God/Goddess. The more disconnected you are from Source, the more disappointing results you attract over and again.

Your nurturing soul stuff (like enjoying healthy positive relationships, doing work that has meaning for you, staying in balance, attracting financial abundance, having a spiritual practice) allows you to expand into your divine essence. You will always be adjusting to see what fits you now.

2. Nurture Your Soul With a Positive Environment
Identify the state of being that creates an environment of success for you. Now create supportive environments that honor your values (people, opportunities, places that inspire you and move you forward). Too many times we are fighting against-ourselves, other people, or circumstances that are contrary to our inner nature and then we wonder why it is so hard to make changes and become the human beings we are meant to become. Environments and associations (who we hang out with) are 100x more important than you realize---can pull you forward or drag you down.

3. Discover Your Life Purpose
You cannot talk about caring for your soul and not mention living with purpose. A native American saying is, "Everything on earth has a purpose. Every person a mission." Just like a bird who has its own unique song, you, too have a song to sing. It may only be a little song but there are people who will like it. You were born to do something great and to help someone or perhaps a group of people. Your purpose often seems much bigger than you and affects others in a positive way. When you are on purpose, you help greater humanity.

4. Write Your Own Fairytale (complete with happy ending and all!)
Who remembers the fable Goldilocks and the Three Bears? What was the story----three beds, certain bed, certain porridge. Not too hard, too soft, hot or cold, but just right. What is Potential?
It is what you are capable of becoming. It is new possibilities. It is what you were born with. It is what is in your DNA. It is also what exists all around you in the field of infinite intelligence.

Potential is something each of us has access to.
And
We must first make the decision that we want to access it.

a Conscious Evolutionist.

Personal potential: what you are born with, what you do for you because that is what you want to do.

Greater potential: what is in your higher energy, what you do for others (people, community, organization, nation) and for a greater purpose.

Profound potential: what you do for the world; world-changing potential.

Pure potential: what you do for Life; evolutionary potential.

The most powerful life we live is when we allow our soul to fully flower, and step out of our comfort zone into our courage zone, which is where our higher potential lives.

In this new era of Enlightenment, if we do not learn to master the art of change, life will be very difficult. The idea let go or be dragged comes to mind.

The important thing is this, to be able to release what we are for what we can become.

We must be willing to let go of the life/career/relationships/business we have in order to attract the life that is meant for us. I recently learned this myself, when I stepped more fully into spiritual teacher, as I had the story running in my P.O.S. (personal operating system) who am I?

I believed I was just a simple country girl from Kentucky, a first generation college student who grew up without much emotional or financial support from her family of origin. For many years, I felt like a victim, and did not know who I really was.

Well, during my last trip to the Derby this year, I got a clear message that the underdogs of the world are here to shake the foundation of what has been. Just like the longshot Mine That Bird that made history, I do not have the pedigrees or fancy breeding, and yet, desire and training can be an unstoppable force!

Another clue from the universe about my potential was my visit to Abe Lincolns birth place where I was reminded that he also was a simple man with a good mind, a good heart. Also like me, had experienced many, many failures before going on to change the course of history.

He once said, I will study and prepare and one day my day will come.

And that is how I feel.
My day is coming.
Your day is coming too.

It is Time to Shift From Spiritual Warrior to Spiritual Lover

Have you been following what is happening with the James Ray, a fellow spiritual teacher and author?

Just in case you have not heard, you can do a google search and find out more. Basically, a so-called spiritual rockstar is being scrutinized for his responsibility in the deaths of 2 and hospitalizations of many who signed up to attend his spiritual warrior workshop in Sedona Arizona.

In the name of empowerment, these folks willingly went without food and water and entered into a sweatlodge and many suffered the ultimate cost.

To me, this is a clear indication of where we need to shift our consciousness in our relationship with the Divine--that of graduating from warrior/fighter to peace/love activist.

Is not ego/fighting/struggle the same kind of nonsense that got us into the reality we currently are trying to get out of it?

It is my point of view that the Shift is bringing up some darker stuff we would rather not see, however, know the light will dissolve any and all that is not of LOVE

The Ray event could be one of those things....it certainly brings to light many different and important considerations...that of guru/student, power/empowerment, the idea of paying for enlightenment, those who are not of American Indian descent leading this kind of work, who is responsible. etc.

For me, this also brings up the issue of divine feminine/nurturance in the healing/empowerment arts. I do have to wonder if a woman leader would have been more in tune with her flock and might have noticed when people were feeling unwell, etc.

Not to mention that the divine feminine has been left out of religion and spirituality for long enough. My God is comforting, kind, and loving, and does not ask me to suffer on his/her behalf.

What are your thoughts? What good can come from this unfortunate incident?

So you have read the books, watched the movies, and spent thousands on products that are supposed to help you finally attract what you want in life.

You have shelves of information, right?
In fact, I bet some of those very resources remain unopened and still in the package.

The real question is Do your results match your investment of time, money and energy?

A Story About Transformation (unknown author):

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day, a small opening appeared.

He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further.
Then man decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily, but it had a swollen body and small shrivelled wings.
The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that at any moment the wings would enlarge and expand, to be able to support the body which would contract in time.

Neither happened!

In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shrivelled wings.

It never was able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand, was that the restricting cocoon, and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening, were nature’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into the wings, so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If creation allowed us to go through life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been.

And remember this, there is nothing about a cocoon that tells you it is going to be a butterfly!
If you are in your growing your wings stage, be with it, and know this is exactly where you need to be. Once you have what you need, you will then be able to take flight.

The Shadow Effect Movie Review by Bright Michelle

It has been a long time coming, and goodness, I am glad it is here. The time for integrating the polarities that have kept us from being whole and holy. With The Shadow Effect movie, created by Debbie Ford and various gifted collegues like Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson, the light is being shed on this part of humanity, which will empower us all to move to greater heights and deeper depths.

One of the greatest aspects of our SOUL is that of the dark side, the shadow, the part that tries to remain unseen because we are afraid of the consequences from others if we are “not perfect”.

The field of psychology has long known about the power of what lies in the subconscious and how most of what we do---90% or more---lives in this domain.

Bring Forth the Treasure Within You

The treasure that is within you are your God-given gifts, as well as having the ability to trust in a higher power who wants you to be healthy, wealthy, and wise. This will make setting and achieving goals much easier because they will be in alignment with your soul’s vision and purpose in life. Success is attracted to people who provide value and who invest in themselves. So to attract more success, be success in each and every moment. This means seeing and experiencing success now. There are 5 ways I have found that allow my mind to become set for success:

1) completion 2) deletion 3) creation 4) organization 5) delegation.

When you feel the need to have instant success, organize something, complete something, remove something, delegate, and create something. Each of these actions is instant energy shifters and allows you to train your brain to see success, and therefore, be success.

5 Step Recipe for Success

There are also steps that you can use to be more successful--- follow your inspirations where they lead, set clear intentions, apply focused attention, and take massive action daily.

A formula for success is: Inspiration + Intention + Attention+ Action=SUCCESS
Follow Inspirations
This step involves listening to and responding to the inklings, messages, and inspirations your inner self is sending you. It is wise to honor that information and follow where it leads you.

Set Clear Intentions
This step involves setting your mind towards a specific outcome is (remain open to something even better), and you fully believe it will come to pass. It is wise to write your intentions down on paper.

Apply Focused Attention
This step involves clearing your mind, bringing your whole self by giving your full attention to the task at hand. It is wise to practice a grounding or relaxation exercise prior to beginning.

Take Massive Action
This step involves doing something every single day to move you towards your goal. It is wise to develop and utilize a strategy action plan.

Beware of Unchallenged Beliefs
Now that you know what success really requires, what is stopping you from getting started? Often it is limiting beliefs. You probably mistakenly believe that you are not good enough, smart enough, etc. These beliefs are just lies you have told yourself that you have come to believe. And it is essential that you uproot any and all beliefs that limit you.

Always remember the essential Truth that you already have all that you need to attract more success and happiness, you just need to learn to access your inner power. I have personally worked with clients who have turned their lives around from being divorced, bankrupt, and physically unwell to happily in love, prosperous and healthy in a few short months. So, no matter what your present life circumstances, even if they seem less-than-ideal, you can become even more successful starting this very moment by applying these simple steps.

Unconscious people often have hope without action, and wish without doing. You are different.

You are aware and conscious, and know that to access the success that is already there for you, will have to take 100% responsibility for your life, find out what you really want, and then make the required internal changes to get harmoniously aligned your desires and dreams. A major problem in the world today is that human beings have not developed their thinking skills.

Here's a thought to ponder (I love brain twisters).

Just because you have a thought does not mean you are thinking!

Thoughts fly through our heads all day long (to the tune of about 65,000 a day, and 95% of those are thoughts we have already thought, and those are negative and limiting).

In this mode, we are on autopilot and going nowhere fast, circling the same territory again and again.

Thinking involves a conscious and deliberate act to monitor and choose the thoughts you want to think.

It involves asking yourself questions so you can gain insight and revelation. It is kind of like conscious dialoguing with yourself and a higher power.

It's been said many times in the field of self-help that we become what we think about all day long. So when we allow unconscious and negative thoughts to run through our minds all day long, guess what our reality is like?!

Not a pretty picture.

Don't make a mistake.

Your subconscious cannot see "don't" so it "sees" mistake and that is what you get.

In fact, research shows the brain cannot "compute" words like no, don't can't, not and yet we use them all the time.

(To do your own research, keep a log of the number of times you and those around you use these words in our daily conversations!) You will be astonished.

I was--- especially when I did my job on the junior high campus: "Don't run. Don't talk." "No talking. "
Ha. The kids do just the opposite!

To grow new neural pathways in your brain, you may want to think/say something like this:

I am completely focused and get my work done ahead of schedule.

Now your brain can go to work on how to make that happen.

To change results/reality, you will need to think empowering thoughts many times so it can sink in!

The divine's plan for salvation includes you.
You are at a choice point.
Will you choose to ascend or remain stagnant?

Your answer to this question may reveal how ready you are to show up and shine:

What do you think when you think." if others saw the real me, they would ?"

When we can see ourselves as divine, light and love filled beings with wisdom to share, gifts to bring, then we can see it in others.

Since much of our history has been about the accumulation of things, it seems natural that in this Age of Soul, for a deep change to occur in where and how we find our happiness.

I hold the belief that the curriculum for our enlightenment has been set by our soul and that LIFE gives us the opportunities to collect the keys to our eternal wisdom.

In life, we experience 3 major challenges:
Power-oriented-making a stand/being courageous
Love---expressing and receiving love
Intellect---developing our mind and creating things.

Using the keys to the kingdom, we can grow into our expanded self & fulfill our divine destiny in each of these areas and more.

Your soul is your true essence, and this part of you is unlimited, original and eternal. Your soul is here to express itself and to shine brightly and radiantly, despite what other egos might think.

As we march into 2010, which holds the promise of every great thing, you are at a choice point.

How do you choose which path to take. the lower, boring, mediocre road or the higher, exciting and divine road?

Perhaps you reflect back over your life and realize how much more happiness, success, love, and peace you could have experienced if you had thought or acted with a higher consciousness.

When it is Time for a Change, It's Time for a Coach

There is an innate drive within each of that moves us forward on a personal and spiritual path.

The process of personal and spiritual transformation starts with individual growth and proceeds toward growth that engages our souls and encourages us to become what I call called in esoteric terms "soul-centered".

This means that we become less driven by our personality and ego needs and more guided by our soul qualities.

This process has also been called "The Hero's Journey" or "The Self-Actualization Process."
It begins with a "awakening" or "wake up call" usually in the form of disappointment or disaster that shakes us out of our trance and causes us to look again at our lives and re-evaluate if who we are and what we are doing is serving our deepest self.
We maybe for the first time in our lives stop seeing the material world as the own reality and start to wonder if there is not something more.
This marks the initial "challenge to grow" that our soul initiates within us.

Perhaps you are undergoing such a calling right now. And wonder who can help you or what you can do. There is something and someone that I personally know who has been there and done that many times over, yours truly.

I have walked through the fires of confusion, loss, anger, sadness due to divorce, job changes, financial challenges, and lack of a strong emotional support network. I believe I have had these experiences so that I could show YOU the way and for others who are going through "the storms of life" now.

The time is now for transformation.

It is a new era and we are poised with the opportunity to bring in a new consciousness, and co-create a new reality. Why? Because the light within each of us has been turned on, and it's our job to turn that light on brighter and brighter until all false thought forms dissolve in the light of our Truth.

Getting to Know Michelle

Thought it would be fun to get to know another side of me.

Today, you will meet Chelle; the girl who just wants to have fun.

As a Gemini, there are definitely at least two of me! For those into astrology, I have a Cancer moon and Virgo ascendant.

I was born in the summer of 1969, a good year I am told.
I have passion for all things related to learning: reading, writing, coaching, speaking, seminars, ideas, words, language. I also love the beach, dark chocolate with coconut, and pizza--bless the person who first created it!
I will admit freely that I TOTALLY LOVE THE 80s! Especially the music and can be found dancing around my car and house to my favorite tunes. Yes, I even have some hand-made tapes from the old school days, and Yes, I still listen to them with complete joy!
I know an amazingly amount of almost-accurate lyrics to songs. And Yes, I sing them loud and proud, much to the consternation of my friends. I have performed Karaoke once or twice and do a pretty decent rendition of Madonna's get into the groove.
Ok, since I am really letting my hair down, I will also confess that on occasion, I can have blond moments and completely space where I left my keys or have to pause and ponder, did I just hit the send button?! or what was I just working on?! or what did I name that article?!
In the course of my adult life, I have managed to survive 3 major car accidents--- all of which only involved me, my car, the road, the ocean (the most recent in May 07) And Yes, all three were TOTALED. Thankfully I have never been injured or ill.
This is one of my great reasons for believing in guardian angels!

I have big financial goals I have yet to meet.
I have big dreams that are coming true as we speak.
Things I like to do:

Love and be loved by my dogs, Briosa and Bosko

Travel:   My favorite place on earth I have been is Kauai, Hawaii.   My dream vacation is to Italy.

If I have to watch instead of read, I will watch a spiritual movie, anything with a powerful or provocative message. Since I do not have cable, I spend more time on the internet, and do watch educational or inspirational you tube videos.

One day I will create one of my own video

It will either be my serious side speaking on a spiritual topic or a friend getting even with me with one of my karaoke performances!

Are You Ready to be Awakened? By Michelle L. Casto, Ph.D.

2 million people can't be wrong.

When Oprah had the webcast promoting the New Earth movement, and, millions of people all over the world tuned in to learn how to release their ego and allow their essence to be more present, I smiled.
I am so excited because that means more of us are awakening. And when more of us are awakened and in action, life is going to get really interesting and fun!
You may think just because you are waking in the morning and walking around, you are "awake."

However, what I know is that if your life isn't everything you dream it can be, then you might not be as awake as you think.
Actually, I spent much of my life "asleep at the wheel." Even though I was pretty intelligent and even very into "self-help." I still had my blind spots.
During that time, I let life happen TO me instead of consciously creating everything I wanted my life to be. I experienced the roller coaster ride of ups and downs, highs and lows, successes and set backs, all the while walking in a trance instead of ENJOYING THE DANCE!
Something (finally) woke me up. Actually several something's.a divorce, financial challenges, and two totaled vehicles! All of this shook me to the core and woke up me to the realization that it was time to make some changes and begin co-creating the life I wanted to live... on purpose.
And my life has NEVER been the same since.
Tolle said during the webcast, that everyone has a spiritual teacher-suffering.
And that is true--- most of us have not experienced enough pain to learn a new way.
We have to attract "wake up calls" in order to get our little rears in gear, and moving in a more divine direction.

Why is the process of awakening so powerful?
Take this story:
The student asked the Buddha, are you God?
Buddha said no.
The student asked Buddha, are you an angel?
Buddha said no.
The student asked then what are you?
Buddha said, I am awake.
You can be "Buddha like" and choose to awaken (naturally) before the alarm clock goes off in the form of an accident, disappointment, break up, or other less than pleasant wake up call.
How? By getting a coach and turning on the light to take a good look at how your life is progressing.
