When it is Time for a Change, It's Time for a Coach
There is an innate drive within each of that moves us forward on a personal and spiritual path. The process of personal and spiritual transformation starts with individual growth and proceeds toward growth that engages our souls and encourages us to become what I call called in esoteric terms "soul-centered".
This means that we become less driven by our personality and ego needs and more guided by our soul qualities. This process has also been called "The Hero's Journey" or "The Self-Actualization Process."
It begins with a "awakening" or "wake up call" usually in the form of disappointment or disaster that shakes us out of our trance and causes us to look again at our lives and re-evaluate if who we are and what we are doing is serving our deepest self.
We maybe for the first time in our lives stop seeing the material world as the own reality and start to wonder if there is not something more. This marks the initial "challenge to grow" that our soul initiates within us. Perhaps you are undergoing such a calling right now. And wonder who can help you or what you can do. There is something and someone that I personally know who has been there and done that many times over, yours truly. I have walked through the fires of confusion, loss, anger, sadness due to divorce, job changes, financial challenges, and lack of a strong emotional support network. I believe I have had these experiences so that I could show YOU the way and for others who are going through "the storms of life" now. The time is now for transformation. It is a new era and we are poised with the opportunity to bring in a new consciousness, and co-create a new reality. Why? Because the light within each of us has been turned on, and it's our job to turn that light on brighter and brighter until all false thought forms dissolve in the light of our Truth. Getting to Know Michelle
 Thought it would be fun to get to know another side of me. Today, you will meet Chelle; the girl who just wants to have fun. As a Gemini, there are definitely at least two of me! For those into astrology, I have a Cancer moon and Virgo ascendant. I was born in the summer of 1969, a good year I am told. I have passion for all things related to learning: reading, writing, coaching, speaking, seminars, ideas, words, language. I also love the beach, dark chocolate with coconut, and pizza--bless the person who first created it! I will admit freely that I TOTALLY LOVE THE 80s! Especially the music and can be found dancing around my car and house to my favorite tunes. Yes, I even have some hand-made tapes from the old school days, and Yes, I still listen to them with complete joy! I know an amazingly amount of almost-accurate lyrics to songs. And Yes, I sing them loud and proud, much to the consternation of my friends. I have performed Karaoke once or twice and do a pretty decent rendition of Madonna's get into the groove. Ok, since I am really letting my hair down, I will also confess that on occasion, I can have blond moments and completely space where I left my keys or have to pause and ponder, did I just hit the send button?! or what was I just working on?! or what did I name that article?! In the course of my adult life, I have managed to survive 3 major car accidents--- all of which only involved me, my car, the road, the ocean (the most recent in May 07) And Yes, all three were TOTALED. Thankfully I have never been injured or ill. This is one of my great reasons for believing in guardian angels! I have big financial goals I have yet to meet. I have big dreams that are coming true as we speak. Things I like to do: -

Travel: My favorite place on earth I have been is Kauai, Hawaii. My dream vacation is to Italy. -
If I have to watch instead of read, I will watch a spiritual movie, anything with a powerful or provocative message. Since I do not have cable, I spend more time on the internet, and do watch educational or inspirational you tube videos. One day I will create one of my own video It will either be my serious side speaking on a spiritual topic or a friend getting even with me with one of my karaoke performances! Possible Answer to What is the Shift?
I love how the Divine speaks to me. I had several people ask me, what is this SHIFT I keep he aring about. I opened a book and received insight. This is an excerpt from Marianne Williamson, a luminary, and someone I have had the pleasure to spend a little time with personally, who I believe is such a blessing to us all. This comes from her 1994 book Illuminata, and is in the very beginning in the chapter on Renaissance: The antidote for what is fundamentally wrong is the cultivation of what is fundamentally right. Should we choose to expand who we are on a fundamental level, new structures will replace the casualties of premillenial disintegration, and the next twenty years will usher in an age of light more dazzling than the world has ever known. ..Ultimately, the choice to love each other is the only choice for a survivable future. The meek shall inherit the earth because everyone else will have died upon their swords. .The opening of the heart is an awesome personal politic, providing us with an internal strength greater than any worldly power. As we receive God's love and impart it to others, we are given the power to repair the world. We have begun to recognize that our individual minds create our collective realities , and we are taking more responsibility for the world by taking more seriously our individual contributions to it. Personal transformation can and does have global effects. As we go, so goes the world, for the world is us. The revolution that will save the world is ultimately a personal one. We are learning, loving, lighting, shifting, being, and maturing into our TRUE SELVES. MW says "We are looking not so much for more ground to conquer, but for a truer ground of being on which to stand inside ourselves. The most positive breakthroughs of our times are internal. This history of the world is the history of control.... seizing someone's soul is the ultimate form of control, because without soul we are without love. Without our love, we are without our power." So in my estimation, when each of us does what we each are called to do, in my case, free people's souls from any imaginary form of imprisonment, then all those soul seeds start sprouting, and when the time is ripe, a new earth is born. Be the change, says Gandhi.

Are You Ready to Be Awakened?
Are You Ready to be Awakened? By Michelle L. Casto, Ph.D. A few months ago history was made. 2 million people can’t be wrong. Oprah has the New Earth movement, where millions of people all over the world tuned in to learn how to release their ego and allow their essence to be more present. I am so excited because that means more of us are awakening. And when more of us are awakened and in action, life is going to get really interesting and fun! You may think just because you are waking in the morning and walking around, you are awake. However, what I know is that if your life isn't everything you dream it can be, then you might not be as awake as you think. Actually, I spent much of my life asleep at the wheel. Even though I was pretty intelligent and even very into self-help. I still had my blind spots. During that time, I let life happen TO me instead of consciously creating everything I wanted my life to be. I experienced the roller coaster ride of ups and downs, highs and lows, successes and set backs, all the while walking in a trance instead of ENJOYING THE DANCE! Something (finally) woke me up. Actually several somethings----a divorce, financial challenges, and two totaled vehicles! All of this shook me to the core and woke up me to the realization that it was time to make some changes and begin co-creating the life I wanted to live---on purpose. And my life has NEVER been the same since. Tolle said during the webcast, that everyone has a spiritual teacher—suffering. And that is true: most of us have not experienced enough pain to learn a new way. We have to attract wake up calls in order to get our little rears in gear, and moving in a more divine direction. Why is the process of awakening so powerful? Take this story: The student asked the Buddha, are you God? Buddha said no. The student asked Buddha, are you an angel? Buddha said no. The student asked then what are you? Buddha said, I am awake. You can be Buddha-like and choose to awaken (naturally) before the alarm clock goes off in the form of an accident, disappointment, break up, or other less than pleasant wake up call. How? By getting a coach and turning on the light to take a good look at how your life is progressing. And then taking inspired actions in the direction of your destiny. Are You Truly Awake and Aware?
Greetings
Periodically I review some of my favorite collections of ideas, stories, quotes and poems. Upon reflecting this weekend, I came across this one about the topic of Awakening. In spiritual circles, September 11 holds an ideal time for awakenings on the planet. Personally, I have had many wake up calls over the last year. This surprised me because I thought I was alive, awake and aware, and yet, I keep getting awakened again and again.
It seems to work like a continual unfolding process......
Awakening by Judith Givens
Awakening is always
Unfolding, never undone
Just as there is no end to infinity or time
The awakened one knows that her life
Is a continuing process
Her only goal is to be fully present and alive
She plans for the future
But does not strive to make things happen
Because her attention is in the Now
Her life complete in every moment.
